Chef's Table by Stephan Zoisl

“At Chef’s Table by Chef Stephan Zoisl, the ingredients take centre stage. Every day there will be a list of 28 seasonal ingredients. Simply cross out the ones you don’t like or don’t want to eat and let the culinary team do the rest. Don’t expect the same thing twice because their ever-changing 4, 6 or 8 course degustation (omakase) menu is based around what ingredients are the freshest and the best on that very day. Enjoy the open kitchen which allows you to see what’s happening. Chef Stephan and his team will serve all dishes to you and explain what you are about to savour. The experience is up close and personal.” – Karin

Meta

“Meta, in the trendy, ever-changing and vibrant Keong Saik area is a chic hideout. The location is fitting because Meta is short for metamorphosis (meaning change or alteration). Meta transforms fresh, seasonal ingredients into exciting and inventive dishes. The five or seven course menus feature familiar and comforting dishes that also offer a surprise with an elegant twist. Chef Sun Kim, originally from South Korea, truly merges his Asian heritage with classically, French-trained skills. His creations are contemporary masterpieces. The menu is seasonal so you’ll probably want to come back at least every quarter.” – Karin

Their Spring menu recently launched and I personally spent a lovely evening here enjoying the progression of courses. Watch the video above.

“Housed in the Flower Dome of iconic Garden’s by the Bay, Pollen features a menu that showcases simplicity using fresh ingredients. The influence of their natural environment cannot be missed and the menu is sophisticated and enticing. Chef Steve Allen, formerly from Claridges at the Gordon Ramsay Group believes in cooking the best way possible to highlight the best flavours. Don’t forget to bring a sweater as the temperature is a cool 23-25 degrees C.”– Karin

Read our interview – Chef Talk: Steve Allen about Pollen. In April, I had the pleasure of attending the Chef’s Choice dinner with Chef Steve. Each course was delightful, beautiful to look at and delicious! I highly recommend visiting Pollen to try out Chef Steve’s seasonal menu.
